We're in Bristol

Henry Ford said that
"coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success"...
and this was where we came in.

English lecturers from polytechnics, community colleges and vocational colleges are grouped together in order to make this work. Bristol is England's sixth most populous city and one of the warmest in the UK. Some fun facts of the city:
- Bristol is a port city known as the "Birthplace of America".
-The city played an important role in England's maritime trade in tobacco and cotton.
- The infamous pirate, Captain Blackbeard once had a hideaway cave under the St. Mary Redcliffe church. His original birthplace and childhood home still stands on Bristol's harbour side.

Our Bristol group is headed by Mrs. Katie Courtney-Bennett, a freelance teacher and teacher trainer who has special interest in pronunciation & the different ways of learning. Previously working in countries such as Indonesia, China and the UAE; she is here to share and train. Woohoo! (definitely what Katie said :D)
